Can't you see John McCain, Cindy McCain, Rudy Gulianni, Mitt Romney in the row boat, but as the boat is sinking it is not a man wearing the chefs hat, but a woman......that would be Sarah Palin, and her sous chef is Mr. Steve Schmidt.

Meaning, these folks --being the most famous of recent democrats are "not traditional" in marriage unlike the more "traditional" conservatives.

I would be curious to see a comparison list of " ideological famous" solid marriages and contrasting divorcee's.

My hunch is that registered Conservative Republicans do indeed divorce at a higher rate------But I really can't back that theory up.
