This could be considered one of those "Tipping Point" moments looked through the Chaos theory lense. Recall that at this time HRC had a commanding lead in the polls, was ever so much annointed as to be the Democratic candidate, and this articulate, clean cut, colored fellow with little or no hope could not possibly pose a threat to the mighty Clinton Machine>
This zing should be remembered forever because it was one of the most perfect zings that I have ever witnessed - timing, tone, humor, and right to the bone: looking back on it now, now that it is really just a truth, is even more pleasing.
